Homemade Sour Cream And Noodle Hamburger Casserole

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 lb noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp butter or margarine
- 1/2 tsp butter flavoring
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp garlic salt
- 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 6 green onions, chopped
- buttered bread crumbs
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
INSTRUCTIONS
- Cook noodles in salted boiling water until tender. Drain. Brown beef in butter. Add flavoring, seasonings, and tomato sauce.
- Simmer 4-5 mins. Stir in remaining ingredients except for buttered bread crumbs and cheese. Spoon into a casserole dish and top with crumbs and grated cheddar cheese.
- Bake at 350 for 20 mins or until mixture is bubbly and bread crumbs are browned.
