Oven Roasted Honey Brussels Sprouts

Oven-roasted veggies are a fry fam specialty. Roasted to perfection with Honey and Balsamic for a sweet and savory flavor these brussel sprouts are simply delicious.

Honey Balsamic Oven Roasted Brussel Sprouts

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 lb brussel sprouts halved
  • 3 tbsp olive oil, seperated
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tsp honey

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 425. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or spread on baking mat.
  2. Trim off outer, dry leaves, cut off bottom of sprouts and slice lengthwise. In a large bowl toss sprouts with 2 tbsp olive oil, salt and pepper to coat thoroughly.
  3. Transfer sprouts to baking sheet and roast until tender and caramelized, about 20 mins. Turn over halfway through baking.
  4. Place sprouts back in bowl, add remaining 1 tbsp olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and honey. Toss to coat evenly. Taste and season with salt if necessary.

  • Watch closely while baking to ensure veggies are not overcooked. Should still have a slight crunch to maintain all those great nutrients!
