Homemade Turkey Chili

INGREDIENTS
- 2 to 3 lbs ground turkey (Hamburger or Venison also go great)
- 1 onion, diced
- 1/2 green pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup chopped green chilies (optional)
- 1 stalk celery, finely diced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14 oz) beef broth
- 5 tbsp chili powder, divided
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp cumin, divided
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp chicken bouillon powder
- 1 can Ranch beans
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a pot add turkey, diced onion, chilies (optional, green pepper, and celery. Brown the meat and other ingredients.
- Add in tomato sauce, beef broth, and cook for 30 mins.
- Add in 3 tbsp chili powder, garlic powder, salt, 1/2 tbsp cumin, pepper, chicken powder, and ranch beans. Simmer for 2 hrs.
- Add in remaining 2 tbsp chili powder, 1/2 tbsp cumin, and smoked paprika. Simmer for additional 30 mins. Extra beef broth can be added to thin as necessary.
