These hearty pinwheels are the perfect blend of sausage and cheese on the inside and crispy, flaky dough on the outside.
Homemade Sausage pinwheels

INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups Bisquick Mix
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 lb. mild sausage
- 1 lb. cheddar cheese
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix bisquick with milk. Knead and roll out dough to 16″x12″. Pat down raw sausage onto dough, filling in all, leaving 1/2″ on top side of dough. Sprinkle grated cheese all over.
- Roll up from bottom, jelly roll style. Use a bit of water to seal together and sprinkle with dry bisquick. Roll up in wax paper and foil, then freeze till firm or ready to cook.
- Thaw 15 mins before slicing. Slice each pinwheel 1/2′ thick. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 for 20 mins.
