Homemade Mexican Refried Bean Dip

Quick and easy this dip is the perfect pairing to go along with tacos or burritos. Warm beans with gooey cheese mixed in what is not to love about this dip.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1/2 package dry taco mix
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 block of monterey jack cheese
  • Green onion or hot peppers on top (Personal preference)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Put the refried beans in a medium size glass dish, then add in the taco mix.
  2. Soften cream cheese and add to the mix. Next put the grated cheese on top. Then add the onion or peppers on top. Cook for 5 mins in the microwave.

  • Taste great as leftovers, just keep covered in the fridge and reheat in the microwave.
  • Served best with a side of tortilla chips and homemade guacamole!
