Homemade Carrot Apple Casserole

This delicious healthy blend of apples and carrots tossed with cinnamon is the perfect combination. A sweet addition to any casserole and a for sure crowd pleaser.

Homemade Apple Carrot Casserole

BAKE TIME: 10 mins

WAIT TIME: 10 mins to cool

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 large sliced green apples
  • 2 cups sliced carrots
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • Butter

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In small bowl mix sugar, flour, and cinnamon.
  2. Place in casserole dish a layer of peeled, sliced apples, then a layer of sliced, cooked carrots. Over this sprinkle some dry mixture, another layer of apples and carrots, more dry mixture, and then a layer of just apples. Finish the dry mixture on top. Pour orange juice on top and dot with butter.
  3. Cover casserole and bake at 350 only till apples are desired tenderness.
