This stroganoff is very rich and delicious. Packed with protein this can be served over rice or noodles.
Homemade Beef STroganoff

INGREDIENTS
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 tbsp shortening
- 2 lb cooked beef, cubed
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1 (4 oz) can mushrooms (including liquid)
- 1/2 cup celery, diced
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- A dash of pepper
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
INSTRUCTIONS
- Brown the onions in the hot shortening. Drain. Stir in the remaining ingredients.
- Turn into a greased casserole dish and bake at 325 for 1 hour.
Fry Fam’S TIPS
- You can also make this by simmering it on the stove over low heat. When all the flavors are blended it is ready to serve.
- Goes well over rice or egg noodles.
