Chicken Balls (Delicious high protein snack)

These delicious little balls are the perfect high protein snack on the go and can also be packed for some high-quality meal prep. Quick and easy these chicken balls are a breeze to make.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 (4oz) bag plain plantain chips, crushed
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp dried cilantro leaves
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine the onion, crushed plantain chips, ground chicken, salt, and spices and mix until well combined. Shape the mixture into 2″ balls.
  3. Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 mins. Halfway through baking time, turn the balls so that the other side gets evenly browned.
