Savory Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

INGREDIENTS
- 1 pork shoulder roast (2 1/2 lbs)
- 1 (14 oz) bottle BBQ sauce
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp packed brown sugar
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 8 hamburger buns (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Place pork roast in slow cooker. Cover; cook on low 10-12 hrs or high 5-6 hrs.
- Remove pork roast from slow cooker. Shred with two forks. Discard cooking liquid. Return pork to slow cooker; add BBQ sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar, and onion. Cover and cook on low 2 hrs or 1 hr on high.
