Homemade Sloppy Joe Pizza

Who doesn’t love sloppy joes and who doesn’t love pizza? Well, now you can have both! The perfect midweek meal that is quick to whip up and just as delicious! Packed with protein and carbs to fuel your next training session and also sure to fuel your taste buds!

Homemade Sloppy Joe Pizza

PREP TIME: 10 mins

BAKE TIME: 15 mins

WAIT TIME: 5 mins to cool

TOTAL TIME: 30 mins

SERVINGS: 4 (2 slices per serving)

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound ground beef chuck
  • 3/4 cup frozen corn, defrosted
  • 3/4 cup prepared BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions
  • 1 large (12″) prepared pizza crust
  • 1 1/2 cups (6oz) shredded Colby Jack cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Heat oven to 425. In a large nonstick skillet brown ground beef over medium heat 8 to 10 mins or until no longer pink, stirring occasionally. Pour off drippings.
  2. Stir corn, BBQ sauce, green onions, and if desired 1/2 tsp salt into beef; heat through.
  3. Place Pizza crust on pizza pan or baking sheet. Spoon beef mixture over top; sprinkle with cheese. Bake 12-15 min or until cheese is melted. Slice and serve. ENJOY!

  • Pairs perfectly with a homemade fruit salad (Find one of our amazing fresh fruit salads HERE)! 
  • I find making all of our pizza with fresh dough makes the best pizza, however, to save time you can buy a pre-prepared pizza crust.
